Concessions
Our concession stand serves up the world famous Brattleboro Little League Hot Dog and numerous other snacks and drinks. With the help of great volunteers, we’re able to feed fans each game. Our stand is powered by eager volunteers, and we’re always looking for more help!
In the past few years, the concession stand has depended on a few dedicated people, and we really need everyone’s help for the stand to be successful. We ask that all families take a look at your busy schedules and plan to contribute. A schedule will be provided at the beginning of the season so that we all can plan in advance. Each team will be responsible for having two people covering and working in the concession stand for one week during the season (7 games per week, Monday through Saturday, during the regular season and tournament play), but you are not limited to this; you may volunteer for other dates. In addition to parents and guardians, grandparents and other family and community members are also welcome and encouraged to volunteer.
It takes a significant amount of money each year to provide a safe and positive environment for everyone. The cost of uniforms, baseballs, equipment, and water for maintenance of the field are just a few of the expenses. Our league survives through fundraisers, donations for banners, and most of all, through the profits from the concession stand. Without this, we would have to double or triple the cost of registration fees. We make every effort to keep the registration fee as low as possible so that families can participate in an affordable sport for their children. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance in the concession stand this year!
